How to Play Tavernia
A fast-paced multiplayer strategy game where knowledge is your weapon.
Goal
Expand your territory and collect points.
- The game ends when only one player remains OR when the final round ends.
- If you reach the final round, the winner is the player with the most Points.
Your Turn
Each turn you can choose
Capture a neutral tile
Answer a trivia question to capture it.
Attack an enemy tile
Play a minigame card and attack!
Cards and Gold
Earn Gold by answering quiz questions correctly. You can draw cards with gold.
- Minigame cards: Required to attack enemies.
- Ability cards: Special effects to disrupt opponents.
Note: You can only get an ability card when purchasing if you already own at least one minigame card.
Shooting
When all players finish their turn, Shooting. begins. All players get the same question with a numerical answer.
- Guess a number as close to the correct answer as possible.
- Closest guess wins (speed breaks ties).
- Win Gold and Points.

Arcane Reveal
Decipher ancient runes to reveal the hidden words
A word is scrambled. Drag the letters to reorder them, or type your guess in the input field. First to unscramble the word wins. Hints reveal letters over time.
Numeris
Crack the secret code faster than your opponent
Crack a secret 3-digit code. After each guess, arrows show if each digit should go higher or lower. First to crack the code wins. There's a cooldown between guesses.
Typewriter
Defeat your opponent with superior typing speed
Race to type the displayed text as fast as possible. Time starts when you start typing. Your speed is measured in WPM (words per minute). Higher speed wins.
Wordlock
Race to decode the ancient grid before your rival
Race to guess the shared 5-letter secret word. After each guess, tile colors give hints: • Green: Letter is in the correct spot. • Yellow: Letter is in the word but wrong spot. • Gray: Letter is not in the word. First to find the word wins!
Mirrorbound
Match symbols and finish the board first
Classic memory matching game. Take turns flipping two tiles to find matching pairs. Match a pair to score and keep them. Player with the most pairs wins.
Phantom Phrases
Uncover and reveal the hidden phrase
Classic hangman with a twist. Take turns guessing letters. Each wrong guess costs a life. You can also attempt to guess the full sentence, but if you make one mistake, you lose immediately.
Hands of Fate
Victory lies in the palm of your hand
Both players play three rounds of rock-paper-scissors. Standard rules apply: rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock.
Flashpoint
Outpace your foe with lightning-fast reflexes
Wait for the screen to turn green, then click as fast as you can. Fastest reaction time wins. Don't click too early or you'll get penalized! Your internet doesn't affect the time. You can also press spacebar instead of clicking.
Wisdom's Path
Choose your battlefield of knowledge and outsmart your opponent
The attacker picks a topic, then both players answer a trivia question from that topic. Correct answer wins the duel only if the other player answered incorrectly.
Marksman
Hit characters in the cloud faster than your opponent
Characters float across the screen. Press the correct key on your keyboard to shoot each character and score points. Numbers and special characters are worth more. Highest score wins.
Masterwork
Restore a timeless painting before your rival does
Drag and connect puzzle pieces to complete the image. First player to complete the puzzle wins.
Lockpick
Pick the vault lock faster than your opponent
Time your clicks to align the rotating pin with the green zone on each tumbler. Pick all three tumblers to open the vault. Mistakes reset your progress!
